New Teachers Join RMHS Staff
Aime Karagiannis; Honors Chemistry Teacher
Aimee Karagiannis is a new physics and honors chemistry teacher at Rolling Meadows High School and previously taught for 22 years at schools in Chicago.
The majority of Karagiannis’s teaching was spent at Von Steuben Metropolitan Science Center. She has taught Biology, Physics, Chemistry, AP Biology and AP Environmental Science.
In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her family and friends on the weekend and also enjoys watching sports and kickboxing in her spare time.
The reason Karagiannis enjoys teaching is because of the possible success of her students; she admires when other students help each other and show that they understand the subject enough to use it in everyday life.
“Rolling Meadows has a community feel, which is refreshing when it comes to education.” Karagiannis said. “Everybody is willing to help if there is something that needs to be done.”
Michael Nabolotny; US History Teacher
Michael Nabolotny is a new United States History teacher at Rolling Meadows High School and is splitting his time between RMHS and Prospect High School and he is currently only teaching first block on gold days. He has taught at Prospect, Elk Grove, Buffalo Grove and Glenbrook North.
Nabolotny enjoys hanging out with his seven-month old son and coaching football and basketball.
Nabolotny enjoys watching his students grow academically and seeing them succeed.
“The students and staff have been so friendly, welcoming, and helpful,” Nabolotny said. “There is a really positive feeling around the building, and I think that goes a long way in making school enjoyable and creating a great learning environment”
Seanna Fitzpatrick; Physical Education Teacher

Fitzpatrick enjoys yoga, baking and spending time with her puppy. She also enjoys watching students learn and seeing the impact that learning has on students, especially when it comes to health and wellness.
“I love the friendly and welcoming staff and the school spirit that RMHS has,” Fitzpatrick said.
