Thanksgiving Thursday

Thursday, Nov. 27 will be the date for this year’s Thanksgiving. Take advantage of the day off to spend time with your family and friends on this holiday.

Non-attendance Days

Typically, only Nov. 27 and 28 are considered non-attendance days. This year, Wednesday, Nov. 26 will be added to Thanksgiving break, so save the date.

National Merit Scholarship

The National Merit Scholarship is awarded to students who achieve highly on the PSAT. Lindsay Bryda, Zoe Frantom, Timothy McDonough, and Ella Schindler were awarded as commended students, and Serena MacKey, Ben Schriber, and Nathan Walters finished as Semifinalists.

Shannon McNamara

On October 26, 2014, Rolling Meadows hosted their annual 5k run in memory of Shannon McNamara. The male and female winners of each age category are posted on the school website.

English Teachers at ACT Conference

English teachers Mary Luckritz, Caleb Parnin and Alison DeBerge will present Springfield and Oak Brook’s ACT conferences. They will focus on the growth in EPAS in the English category at RMHS.
