New Principal and Superintendent

Within the following year, Rolling Meadows High School will be introducing a new principal, as well as a new superintendent. Replacing David Schuler, Dr. Scott Rowe will be assuming the superintendent position in Township High School District 214 within the coming months. Rowe is currently a superintendent at Huntley Community School District 158, serving over 9,000 students and staff since July 1, 2018. District 214 is excited to welcome him to our community and looks forward to the great things expected from him.

Under Rowe’s leadership, he oversaw a number of programs at his district, such as the roll-out of the Blended Learning Program and the 1:1 learning initiative. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University and masters and doctoral degrees in education from Aurora.

After 18 years of being a superintendent at District 214, Dr. David Schuler left District 214 in February and has moved on to being an executive director of the American Association of School Administrators. Students and faculty at Rolling Meadows High School wish him the best of luck in his future.

The current principal at Rolling Meadows High School, Eileen Hart, will be retiring this year and has announced her successor. Megan Kelly will be the new principal, bringing with her years of experience within the academic field. Mrs. Kelly was the Academic Programs and Pathways director of District 214. She has been involved with other numerous schools in the district like Prospect High School as an English teacher and at the Wheeling High School as the division head of English and Fine Arts. The Rolling Meadows community is very thankful to Mrs. Eileen Hart for her services and congratulates her on being awarded Principal of the Year award by the Illinois Principals Association. She will be greatly missed by everyone at the school.
